Directions:

1. Choose a date range (be sure to limit the range to seven or fewer days to avoid a significant delay in loading data).
2. Click a crime category in the list on the right.
3. The map will display circles noting crime locations.
4. Click a circle to see the crime date and address.
5. A corresponding list of crime addresses will appear below the map. Addresses have been rounded to a hundred block or cross street.
6. Please be patient while the data loads.

About Crime Map:

This map displays crimes reported in Kansas City, Mo., based upon the date range selected. The Kansas City Police Department supplies new data every Thursday for the previous week.
